A filter is rarely what you notice on a machine. But it is often what decides whether the engine, the hydraulics or the fuel system keeps going. That is why we are pleased to announce that Arne Nielsen A/S is now an official Hifi Filter dealer.
Who is Hifi Filter?
Hifi Filter traces its roots back to 1977, when Pierre Hirschi laid the foundations of the company with a first warehouse in Savagnier, Switzerland. Today Hifi Filter has 8 companies in Europe, around 850 employees and a distributor network in more than 160 countries.
According to Hifi Filter, the range covers more than 70,000 products. The company itself calls it the most diversified range of filters and accessories in the world.
What does the range cover?
- Engine filters: air, fuel and oil filters.
- Hydraulic filters for machines with hydraulic systems.
- Industrial filters, for example for dust extraction, machine tools and compressed air.
- Maintenance kits and accessories.
The filters are used in agriculture, construction and public works, transport, forestry, marine, mining, energy and industry, among others.
An example: Forestry
Forestry shows how wide the need is. Behind the operations are harvesters, forwarders, timber lorries, debarkers, chippers and dust extraction plants. Each machine has its own filters, and they work in tough conditions with dust, moisture and large temperature swings.
A clogged air filter or the wrong hydraulic filter can quickly mean downtime in the middle of the season. That is why the filter has to match the machine exactly.
What does it mean for you?
With Hifi Filter in our range, we can help with filters for far more types of machines than before. That applies both to our customers in heating and marine and to new customers in agriculture, construction machinery, forestry and industry.
We are adding the range to our webshop. If you know the filter’s original part number or the machine type, we will gladly help you find the right Hifi filter.
