A ball valve is one of the most widely used components in any system, and it simply has to work – for many years. With the Optibal series, Oventrop has brought ball valves for water, heating, oil, fuel and air together in one range, with the handles installers need.
Shut-off with a quarter turn
Optibal ball valves open and close with a 90° turn. The handle is parallel to the ball bore, so you can see at a glance whether the valve is open or closed. That makes it easy to check a system during service and troubleshooting.
One range for many media
Depending on the version, Optibal can be used for:
- Water in domestic water and heating systems
- Mineral, heating and hydraulic oils
- Fuel
- Compressed air
Always choose the version according to medium and application, and check the approvals for the specific variant.
What you get with Optibal
- Full flow, so the ball valve does not restrict the flow
- Wide range of applications, from heating systems to oil and compressed-air installations
- All common handle types: extended plastic handle, lever and T-handle
- Hard chrome-plated ball surface for low friction and long service life
The extended plastic handle is practical on insulated pipes, and the T-handle takes up less space where room is tight.
