Suntec names marine use outright. The TAR pump, built on the TA range, is made for burners on marine residual fuels, with a pressure regulator, a preheater cavity in the body for cold starts and good wear resistance on abrasive fuels. Boiler makers fit Suntec pumps in marine boilers for the long service life that life at sea demands, where help is rarely close at hand.
