Steinen — precise atomisation for a clean, efficient flame
Steinen has been making precision oil-burner atomising nozzles in the USA since 1907, and the nozzle is where combustion is truly decided. Its job is to break the pressurised oil delivered by the pump into a fine, uniform mist with a defined spray angle and pattern, so the fuel burns cleanly and completely. Steinen’s programme includes the Micro-Flo ultra-low-flow range for small and modulating burners, and the Twin-Filter design with an inner 25 µm filter that adds 62% more filtering area to keep the fine orifice clear. Every nozzle is 100% tested, machined from 303/316 stainless steel, and compliant with CEN EN 293 / EN 299 — with capacity in kg/h, spray angle and pattern stamped on the body. Nozzles are sized by flow rate (USgal/h at 100 psi) multiplied by spray angle and spray pattern, for example “0.50 60° ST”. Getting that combination right is the difference between a clean, efficient flame and one that soots, pulses or wastes fuel.
