The complete oil line from one house: Danfoss for Nordic, marine and offshore projects

Open an oil burner almost anywhere in the Nordics and the chances are you will find Danfoss somewhere inside it — on the pump, on the nozzle, on the ignition unit or on the control. Few manufacturers cover as much of the oil line from a single house, and that is precisely Danfoss’s strength: when something needs replacing, the part often comes from the same supplier — with a known fit and known data. British engineers will recognise the name too: Danfoss pumps and nozzles sit in oil burners across the UK just as they do across Scandinavia.

The chain works as one. The BFP pump draws the oil from the tank, filters it and builds the pressure the nozzle needs. The Danfoss and Hago nozzles then atomise the oil into a fine mist — 100% tested, in stainless steel and brass, with flow rate, spray angle and spray pattern stamped on. The FPHB pre-heater ensures the right viscosity at ignition, the EBI4 ignition unit delivers the spark, and the OBC control runs the whole sequence while the photocell verifies that the flame actually lights and holds. If one link fails, you notice immediately — and then the right spare part is the difference between a short service visit and a shutdown.

Danfoss HVO nozzles

For Nordic and maritime projects there is a double advantage. First, the need applies on board just as it does ashore: in marine and offshore installations — with their own strict rules and SECA zones in the North Sea and the Baltic — a clean oil supply, precise atomisation and reliable ignition are basic conditions of operation. Second, the components are HVO-ready: where operators switch to renewable, paraffinic fuels — everyday practice in Scandinavia, and now recognised in the UK, where the Energy Act opened the door for renewable liquid fuels in off-grid heating — HVO places the same demands on pressure, atomisation and ignition as fossil oil, and the entire Danfoss line is built for both.

At Arne Nielsen A/S we carry Danfoss Burner Components because it is the broadest and most requested spares programme inside an oil burner — so that we can deliver the pump, nozzle, pre-heater, ignition unit or control quickly when a part needs replacing. Want to know which Danfoss part fits your burner? Write to us at info@arnenielsen.dk — we will identify the exact model from the catalogue together.
